De este trabajo son autores miembros del Servicio de Alergolog\u00eda del Hospital 12 de Octubre (Ismael Garc\u00eda Moguel, Consuelo Fern\u00e1ndez Rodr\u00edguez y Jes\u00fas Fern\u00e1ndez Crespo), Neumolog\u00eda (Roc\u00edo D\u00edaz Campos) y \u00a0Radiodiagn\u00f3stico (Sergio Alonso Charterina).<\/p>\n

Si bien, como se desataca en este texto, las enfermedades respiratorias preexistentes son un riesgo de infecci\u00f3n grave por coronavirus, no hay evidencia suficiente respecto al asma. Se analiza el caso de dos pacientes (una mujer de 56 a\u00f1os y un hombre de 62) con asma grave tratados con benralizumab. Se concluye que el tratamiento con este f\u00e1rmaco y el resto de medicamentos para el control del asma pueden haber tenido un efecto protector frente a la COVID-19.<\/p>\n
